Melody Calls

Here's the line up for Wednesday's gig at Saint Ex.

10:00 - 10:45 Seeking Irony
10:45 - 11:30 DCSOB

It's every blogger for themselves from 1 AM until closing.

Don't forget we are giving away copies of the latest Doves album, Some Cities, which Q Magazine described thusly: "Underpinned by the magnificent single Black And White Town, this is Doves at their brooding best. Like U2, the Mancunians lift rock to a higher celestial plain and this is their definitive album."

Saint Ex is located at 1847 14th Street NW.
Admission is FREE. Alcohol is not. Bring you ID.

It was great meeting everyone and putting a face to a blog... Nice selection of tunes, sorry I couldn't stay longer but just not as young as I once was.

Thanks again for the Doves prize pack, the "Some Cities" double vinyl was an unexpected bonus and will sit nicely next to the "The Last Broadcast" vinyl.

Got a chance to hear most of the disc this morning, I hear several songs which will fit in nicely at 9:30 shows. Always on the lookout for mellow material to open the evening with.
